About Me
Hello and thank you for stopping by! I'm Victoria and below, you'll find a little bit of information about my background and why I've started English Loud and Clear.

I'm a Brisbane-based ESL Teacher with an International TESOL Diploma and a Bachelor Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language Majoring in Linguistics and Cross-Cultural Communication. I called Australia home in 2005 when I emigrated from Russia with a view to pursuing my educational and career dreams.
Having worked in the Communications line of work for over 14 years, I have vast experience in dealing with many levels of government agencies and communicating with customers of diverse backgrounds. This has enabled me to not only develop an understanding of the nuances of the English language but also provided me with an invaluable insight into Australian culture and values. Most importantly from a linguistic point of view, it’s helped me to understand what Australian people are like in a social environment and how they communicate in everyday life.
I’ve started English Loud and Clear because it gives me great pleasure to work with motivated, results-driven, hard-working learners and share my knowledge and experience with those who need it. When you come to me, you receive access to my many years of expertise of working in the tutoring, training and communications field. I apply my life-long interest in Cognitive Psychology and Behavioural Neuroscience to help make the learning process more strategic and streamlined for my students.
I'm a perfectionist and set high standards for everything I do in life. I focus on quality, not quantity. I stand for growth mindsets and perseverance. I'm a Capricorn and a quiet achiever.
